Rediscover Martinsville's signature holiday event, the Cookie Stroll takes place the second Saturday of December. Purchasing a coveted Cookie Passport entitles you to collect over 2 dozen homemade Christmas cookies baked by supporters of Downtown Martinsville. Enjoy musical entertainment, special activities, and other surprises as you visit shops and downtown businesses.
The 2024 Cookie Stroll will be held Saturday, December 14th, between the hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sale of Passport Vouchers or Eventbrite Tickets: Advance Sale Cookie Stroll Vouchers/Tickets are $25 each. Sales will be online at Eventbrite under Martinsville Cookie Stroll (See button with link at the bottom of this page), November 1st starting at 10 am - December 13th or until we sell out. Check out our FaceBook page to see if passports are sold out. On the day of the event, December 14th, any remaining or unclaimed Cookie vouchers will be for sale at The Art Sanctuary (190 N. Sycamore St. Martinsville, IN 46151) starting at 9:30 am until they are gone. The Cookie Stroll sells out quickly, so buy your Vouchers for you passports early to avoid disappointment. All advance sale EventBrite Vouchers/Tickets not claimed by 11 am on December 14th will be sold for $30 each.
Shopping: Plan to get your Christmas shopping in with all the sales and discounts offered only on the day of the Cookie Stroll. Stores will be open all day.
Events: Come enjoy shopping, eating, and enjoying entertainment downtown. Many sales and product discounts will be found in the shops. Opportunities may include the following: Visit the Morgan County Farmers Market at The Art Sanctuary and see Santa at the Habitat for Humanity Restore from 11am -1pm. Enjoy concerts with the the Woodridge Music Academy at The Source, The Martinsville Community Choir at The First Presbyterian Church and carolers around the square. Watch for the Grinch lurking about! Get your picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus and their sled on the lawn by the courthouse on the Washington St side. Compete in our Christmas Cookie Contest and win money and/or prizes at the Art Sanctuary. See Candy Cane making, see the railroad display at Key Bank, listen to music & story telling, eat delicious food and much, much, more.
Voucher/Passport Exchange: Your Voucher (or Eventbrite ticket) can be exchanged for your Passport at the Art Sanctuary located at 190 N. Sycamore St. in Martinsville, IN. on December 14th - the morning of the Cookie Stroll. Vouchers can be exchanged beginning at 9:30 am - 11 am. Any extra vouchers available the day of the Cookie Stroll are $30 each.
Passport: The Passport has your map, the cookie stops, a schedule of entertainment, and a listing of sales and discounts going on throughout the Cookie Stroll. You need to pick up you Passport at the Voucher (or Eventbrite ticket)/Passport Exchange (see above). You get to collect one cookie per stop. You receive a stamp per cookie stop that you collect a cookie from on your passport.
