Rediscover Martinsville's signature holiday event, the Cookie Stroll takes place the second Saturday of December. Purchasing a coveted Cookie Passport entitles you to collect over 2 dozen homemade Christmas cookies baked by supporters of Downtown Martinsville. Enjoy musical entertainment, special activities, and other surprises as you visit shops and downtown businesses.

​The 2025 Cookie Stroll will be held Saturday, December 13th, between the hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  

Sale of Passport Vouchers or Eventbrite Tickets:
Advance Sale Cookie Stroll Vouchers/Tickets are $25 each. Sales will be online at Eventbrite under Martinsville Cookie Stroll (See button with link at the bottom of this page), November 1st starting at 10 am - December 12th or until we sell out. Check out our FaceBook page to see if passports are sold out. On the day of the event, December 13th, any remaining or unclaimed Cookie vouchers will be for sale at The Art Sanctuary (190 N. Sycamore St. Martinsville, IN 46151) starting at 9:30 am until they are gone. The Cookie Stroll sells out quickly, so buy your Vouchers for you passports early to avoid disappointment. All advance sale EventBrite Vouchers/Tickets not claimed by 11 am on December 13th will be sold for $30 each.


Shopping:  Plan to get your Christmas shopping in with all the sales and discounts offered only on the day of the Cookie Stroll.  Most stores will be open from 10 am - 5 pm.  

Events: Come enjoy shopping local, eating, and enjoying entertainment downtown.  Many sales and product discounts will be found in the shops.  
Visit the Morgan County Farmers Market. Enjoy concerts at The Art Sanctuary, First Christian Church, and First Presbyterian Church.  Watch performances of the Nutcracker Ballet and Holiday Show courtesy of Studio J2 Dance at 2 pm and 5:30 pm at The Martinsville Entertainment Theatre. We'll have  carolers around the square thanks to Woodridge Music Academy.  Watch for the Grinch lurking about!  Make sure to get your picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus in front of the Christmas Tree by the Venue.  The Merry Mac Players will have selfie booths set up at the Venue as well. Compete in our Christmas Cookie Contest and win money and/or prizes at the Art Sanctuary with the winner of the Businesses, Adults, Teens, and Children categories. Watch Candy Cane making at The Candy Kitchen, visit the railroad display at Key Bank, listen to music & story telling, eat delicious food and much, much, more.


Voucher/Passport Exchange:  Your Voucher (or Eventbrite ticket) can be exchanged for your Passport at the Art Sanctuary located at 190 N. Sycamore St. in Martinsville, IN. on December 13th - the morning of the Cookie Stroll.  Vouchers/EventBrite tickets can be exchanged beginning at 9:30 am - 11 am.   Any tickets available the day of the Cookie Stroll are $30 each.

Passport:  The Passport has your map, the cookie stops, a schedule of entertainment, and a listing of sales and discounts going on throughout the Cookie Stroll.  You'll need to pick up you Passport at the Voucher (or Eventbrite ticket)/Passport Exchange.  You get to collect one cookie per stop.  You receive a stamp per cookie stop that you collect a cookie from on your passport.

Businesses In the Main Street Area:  If you'd like to be a Cookie Stop, please download the Merchant Application, fill it out, and mail it in.  A quick email to Cookie Stroll Coordinator Laura Elliott to say you'd like to be a stop is appreciated.


How to be a Baker:  If you would like to be a baker, please download the baker application, fill it out, and email/or snail mail it in. A quick email or text to the Cookie Stroll  Coordinator saying that you will bake for the Cookie Stroll would be appreciated. Also, don't forget to email a typed version of your recipe saved as a PDF to the Cookie Stroll Coordinator to be submitted into the 2025 Cookie Stroll Cookbook.

How to be an Entertainer:  If you or a group would like to offer entertainment during the Cookie Stroll, we can work to pair you up.  All entertainment must be family friendly and reflect the holidays.  Please contact our entertainment coordinator, Julia Ewing. You can also download the Entertainment form below, fill it out, and email it back to Julia Ewing.
